Winsund have over 20 years experience in supplying both complete systems and also components for remote power systems all over the world.

Formed in Dunbar, Scotland, they are now part of the Jennings Group of companies, a family-owned business founded in Sunderland in 1929 and now run by the third generation of the family, with world-wide engineering interests.

Winsund have many years experience, in capturing the natural energy stored in both the wind and the sun. This energy, virtually unlimited, once captured, can then be used to provide electrical energy.

Wind generators, solar panel arrays, combined wind and solar systems (with or without a standby generator) provide cost effective methods of supplying electrical energy to remote sites.

These methods of generating electrical energy reduce our dependence on non-renewable sources of energy such as fossil and nuclear fuels. Their increasing use therefore, helps to decrease the pollution, which is a by-product of conventional energy production.

As a result of extensive research, the efficiency of these systems has been increased dramatically. This has therefore made them suitable for an extremely wide range of applications.

Winsund have supplied systems to customers as varied as Electricity and Water Authorities, Government Agencies and to private individuals both in the United Kingdom and worldwide. Our engineering and sales staff are working closely with agents and associates around the world to bring natural energy to remote sites.
