Where the above standard units are not appropriate, Winsund design and manufacture control systems to meet the requirements of specific solar and/or wind systems.

Where a remote site requires AC power (220 volts 50HZ, or 110 volts 60HZ) Inverters operating from 12/24V DC with AC outputs of 100 watts to 10 kilowatts.

In locations where the mains is unreliable or intermittent the "Back-Up" system stores energy from the mains for use when the mains fail. It can be associated with a solar array and/or stand-by generator. When used with a generator it can save significant amounts of fuel and enhance generator life.

Winsund can supply individually or as part of a system many domestic and non-domestic appliances which operate from 12 or 24 volt DC. These include Lights, Refrigerators, Pumps, Powers Tools, Food Mixers etc, etc.

For use with Diesel/LPG Engine Generators with AC output to produce 12/24VDC to charge batteries on intergrated Wind/Solar/Standby Systems.

Systems are usually supplied on the basis of our 'Site and Systems Questionnaire'. Simpler systems can often be installed by the DIY enthusiast, and wiring diagrams and advice are provided. However, Winsund also offer a full installation service whenever required.
